NAITEC Technological Centre and Applus+ IDIADA held the annual follow-up meeting of the agreement for the use of the 329 road simulator, located at NAITEC’s facilities in Pamplona. The meeting took place on 7 May at IDIADA’s headquarters in Tarragona, with representatives from both entities.

The meet-up was a chance to review the collaboration and explore new areas of work within the framework of NAITEC’s new phase.

The collaboration between NAITEC and IDIADA dates back to July 2015, when the first agreement was signed, and continues to develop positively thanks to both organisations’ commitment to developing advanced automotive testing capabilities.

The 329 road simulator is a vehicle testing facility that allows six degrees of freedom to be applied to each of the wheels on a vehicle’s axle, accurately reproducing the stresses to which the vehicle would be subjected during use. This capability makes the facility unique in Spain and particularly relevant for the development of new suspension systems.

NAITEC was represented by Jesús María Pintor, Managing Director; Iñaki Arregui, Director of Technology Services; and Gabriel Torres, Market Manager for Technology Services. On behalf of Applus+ IDIADA, the representatives were Josep María Farran, Managing Director; Joaquim Huguet, Director of Bodywork and Passive Safety; Javier Arán, Head of Bodywork and Components; Antonio Ramírez, Product Manager for Bodywork and Components; and Xabier Rebolé, Test Engineer for Bodywork and Components.

With this meeting, NAITEC and Applus+ IDIADA are reinforcing their shared commitment to innovation, technological validation and the development of solutions for the automotive industry.
