NAITEC appoints Txus Pintor as Managing Director to strengthen its technological impact on the industrial sector
The Board of Trustees of NAITEC Technology Centre has appointed Txus Pintor as its new Director General, reinforcing the centre’s commitment to driving innovation in sustainable mobility and advanced industry.
Txus Pintor, who has been associated with NAITEC since its foundation in 2018 as Scientific and Technological Director, is now taking on overall responsibility for promoting innovation, technology transfer, and collaboration between the centre and businesses.
Txus Pintor is an Industrial Engineer and PhD graduate from the University of Navarra with over 30 years’ experience in teaching and research in Mechanical Engineering. He has participated in over thirty R&D projects financed through public calls for proposals, as well as over fifty R&D contracts with companies and public administrations, contributing to transferring scientific knowledge to productive environments.
In addition to being Professor at the Public University of Navarra (UPNA) since 1996, he has also held various management positions, such as Vice-Rector for Teaching and Vice-Rector for Academic Organisation. He is Director of the Chair of Automotive Engineering at this university.
